ARSC Journal
The ARSC Journal (ISSN 0004-5438) is a semi-annual, peer reviewed publication that serves to document the history of sound recording and includes original articles on many aspects of research and preservation: biography; cataloging; copyright law; current research; discography; technical aspects of sound restoration, etc.. Selected ARSC conference papers are a regular feature. The journal also includes book and sound recording reviews, and publishes a running bibliography of articles appearing in other specialist publications and of related interest.

ARSC Journal, Vol. 1 (1967) to the current issue are available on the ARSC website as full text PDF files. All ARSC Journal articles can now be searched by NAME, TITLE, DATE, and KEYWORD via AMP!, the new ARSC Media & Publications online search tool. Current ARSC membership is required to download articles back to Vol. 27 (1996). Volumes 1 (1967) to 26 (1995) are available to the general public.
